What Default Sales information is available on the website?

You can access information on the following: Default Sales dates, time of sale, address of sale and the opening bid information.

How do I search for the information I need?

Simply, enter the Trustee Sale number in the format yyyy-nnnnn [the four- digit year followed by a dash, then the trustee sales number. The dash is required]. Then press the Enter key on your keyboard.

Can I search for several Default Sales at a time?

Yes. Click on the appropriate link, and after your first choice is presented, press Clear Screen and enter the next Trustee Sale number. Repeat this process until you’ve completed your search.

What does it mean if I enter a Trustee Sales number and no bid information is returned?

In general, it means that the Default Sale has not been scheduled yet. The opening bid is downloaded into the system within 2 business days. In that case, you may follow up closer to the sale date.

Can I purchase a property before the sale data is available?

No. The only way an interested party may purchase properties from ReconTrust is at auction.

Where can I find information regarding the location of the Sale?

Can I purchase the property on ReconTrust’s website?

No. Interested parties may only purchase properties from ReconTrust at auction.

When I go to the sale, who do I make the check payable to?

How do I reach a ReconTrust representative?

Call toll-free 1-800-281-8219. Representatives are available Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST.

Can you respond to inquiries in Spanish?

No. ReconTrust representatives can only speak to callers in English.
